About This Program
Samaritan Health Services General Surgery program is known for extensive and early operative experience leading to competent community general surgeons. Our program serves a variety of patients across the beautiful Willamette valley and coastal areas of Oregon. The patients have a high average acuity allowing for a breadth of experience and exposure to a variety of surgical pathology. Our residents enjoy a variety of operative approaches including open, laparoscopic and robotic.
