Our program offers high operative volume in the 90-99th percentile, dual training sites (Community Memorial Hospital and Ventura County Medical Center), and unique away rotations in trauma, burn, oncology, pediatrics, and transplant. Residents benefit from early robotic training, diverse certifications, and a supportive, resident-centered culture that emphasizes mentorship, community engagement, and strong work-life balance in coastal Ventura.
