ECU Health Medical Center/East Carolina University Program
About This Program
Our program is located in Greenville, NC (population ~90,000). We are a university based system but closely integrated with our community. ECU covers a 29-county region and is the primary teaching hospital and only Level 1 trauma center and tertiary care center in this area, serving about 1.5 million people. Our commitment is to training excellent general pediatricians. On average about half of our trainees go on to fellowship. We also prioritize rural and global health and scholarship.
